Year-round Basketball Skills Training Program

Fundamentals

Ages: 6 - 9

Basketball Skills practice sessions for beginners. Students will learn fundamental skills of passing, shooting, dribbling, including lay-ups, foot work and pivoting from our highly experienced coaching staff and begin to foster a passion for the game! This class will also put an emphasis on warm-up, stretching, cool-down and rules of the game. This class is an introduction to the game of basketball, and designed for all beginners in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. Even if your child has had some level of introduction to Basketball, this class will be very beneficial to their Basketball development.

Intermediates

Ages: 10 - 17

Basketball Skills Fundamental practice sessions. Students will learn fundamental skills, offensive and defensive skills while working on various other Basketball components (shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, conditioning) of the game, including speed and agility drills from our highly experienced coaching staff. This class will also put an emphasis on warm-up, stretching and cool-down. This class is designed for grades 5 to 12 looking to improve on their current skill level.

Elite

TNBA Elite Basketball program is a fall and winter training program for students/players ages; 9 - 17 (U11's, U13's, U15's and U17's) interested in our Skills Development Academy and playing in our In-House league for an opportunity to potentially play on our teams at the EYBA League and at various other tournaments if selected. Our elite program is a fall & winter commitment and does require some experience and a general level of team concepts and/or some level of experience playing in a team. Students will experience a different coaching style, learn offensive and defensive skills, the game IQ while working on various other Basketball components (shooting, dribbling, passing, offensive and defensive skills, rebounding, etc.) of the game from our highly experienced coaching staff.

Winter Basketball Shooting Camps

During our Winter shooting development camps; the participants will learn fundamental skills of shooting, including passing, dribbling and small sided game from our experienced coaching staff and begin to foster a passion for the game! This camp is designed to help the player improve his/her shooting skills, including various aspect (dribbling, passing, offensive skills, etc.) of the game.

TNBA spring league teams (U11's, U13's, U15's & U17's Boys / Girls) will be participating in the EYBA spring league 2020 and a few other tournaments. Players are required to try out for the teams, games and team practices are from April to June (10 weeks / 20 practice sessions).

Our "In-School Residency and After-School Club" instructors are former professional Basketball players that have played the game at higher levels and for various successful coaches. We bring our collegiate, professional playing and coaching acumen in teaching the students the fundamental skills of: Shooting, Passing & Dribbling, Footwork Lay-ups & Pivoting, Offensive & Defensive Skills, Speed & Agility, Warm-ups, Stretching & Rules of the Game in a Fun, Positive and Encouraging atmosphere.

Specialty Training

Individual/Group Tranining

We offer year-round Individual and Group basketball training for all ages, genders and skill levels. These sessions allow for individual customization to enhance strengths and improve weaknesses of the player's game. These sessions create confidence through disciplined focus and customized attention to detail. Ball handling & shooting drills are incorporated with game situations (getting open, rebounding, attacking the rim, post play, defensive methodology etc.).


Each one hour session is catered to meet the needs of the individual or group (four (4) student/athlete minimum). Group Sessions range from four (4) to ten(10) students/athletes per session. All training sessions are run by our highly experienced coaching staff.

 

call to schedule your individual training sessions or bring a friend or three and create your own group session. Note; group sessions participants will need to focus on developing similar skills.  

Please Note: we must have seen you play and/or you have participated in our program(s) in the past and we have a good knowledge of your Basketball skill level as to enable us design a one on one (1 x 1) training session for you.  

Invitational Only

Clinic

Our invitational only sessions are for elite players (student athletes) invited exclusively for a one (1) time session that focuses on high level conditioning, drills, and scrimmage while being exposed to a different coaching methodology than they are normally accustom to.

 

School coaches are encouraged to refer one (1) or two (2) of their top players to the sessions.

 

Please contact us here to refer players (2 players maximum per school or coach).

 

Overseas

Tournament

Once a year we may invite the top 12 - 15 student athletes that have participated in our program(s) to join us on a trip overseas for a basketball tournament and sightseeing.

 

The tournaments will introduce our students to various other teams and culture. These trip are educational and help to build our student athletes confidence, moral, team work, dedication, appreciation and respect for self and to others.

 

The trip will involve tour of historic sites, local schools, meeting other students from other countries, making foreign friends and competing against students of similar basketball level. 

Team, Workshops and Specialty Training

We are committed to helping your team develop and advance their level of play. Our progressive and innovative methodology includes specific team tailored rigorous drills, disciplined approach to fundamentals, position identifiable coaching, game-like situational experiences and indispensable mental guidance. We believe that a successful team is made from devoted and deliberate coaching.

 

During our team sessions; we are focus on helping the individual player develop their skills, confidence, and ability within the team concept. Our commitment is helping  each player be better while complementing the entire team.

 

Our coaches bring their collegiate, professional playing and coaching acumen to each session. In collaboration with your team’s coach, we will tailor each session to address the needs of each team. Sessions are challenging, yet fun for all participants.

 

We also offer workshop and specialty training sessions for all ages and skill levels.

Our Coaches, their history and stories are unique and highly inspirational. Their success in sport (basketball), education and real-life experiences is captivating and inspiring to young student-athletes. 

 

We offer an hour of motivational speaking to students using a combination of personal stories, anecdotes, illustrations, drama, music, dance and sport to captivate the student, and inspire them to be of great character, upright citizens, focus driven, and to seek positive and passionate outlook to life (school, family, their community and fellow students).
