The True North Basketball Academy (TNBA) Elite Program is a year-round high-performance basketball development program designed for dedicated athletes who are committed to improving their skills, competing at a high level, and reaching their full potential.
Players who successfully earn a roster spot through the tryout process will become part of one of TNBA's Elite teams, receiving professional coaching, advanced skill development, strength and athletic performance training, and opportunities to compete in local, provincial, national, and select U.S. tournaments.
Our program emphasizes long-term player development, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and preparing athletes for the next level of basketball.
What the Elite Program Includes
Athletes selected to a TNBA Elite team will receive comprehensive year-round training, including:
Basketball Skills Development

Offensive and defensive fundamentals

Weekly speed, agility, quickness, and explosiveness training

Provincial and out-of-town competitions

Select travel opportunities to Calgary, Vancouver, and the United States for eligible teams and players
Annual Training Commitment
Athletes can expect:

3–4 basketball sessions per week
-
1 weekly athletic performance session (75 minutes)

1 weekly individual skills development session (75 minutes)

2–3 team practices each week

Weekly House League games
-
5–10 invitational tournaments (team and player selection dependent)

Tournament participation, travel opportunities, and team selection are determined by player commitment, attendance, development, performance, and coaching evaluations.

Refund Policy
TNBA does not offer refunds for postponed programs. If a program is postponed, registration fees will be applied as a credit toward another TNBA program within the same calendar year.
